You can import an EXC wallet to your account only after creating one during onboarding. The public address generated from the seed phrase you input must match the first public address we stored when you first created your EXC wallet. Instructions on how to create an EXC wallet can be found here.
We do not store your Seed Phrase or Private Keys on our servers. They stay locally stored and encrypted on your device. If you lose your seed phrase or device holding your seed phrase you will lose your wallet and we will not be able to assist in recovering it.
Next you will import a Native EXC Wallet to link to your account identity. You can “import” a wallet if you have already finished onboarding before. Your Eximchain account will only be able to use one address, so it is VERY important for you to protect this address.
Select the “Import a wallet” option. Next, read, understand, and confirm that if you lose your seed phrase you will be unable to recover access to your EXC wallet. Input your seed phrase into the Governance app. Verify you have the seed phrase saved by reentering the words in the correct order. Next you will be asked to select a pin, after which you can replace that pin with your devices biometric authentication if available. You have now imported a Native EXC wallet!
